Fall Race Event & Driver Training………………… Aug 28th, 2019

Time: 8:00am – 6:00pm

Purpose:
Fall race events are designed to provide schools with the opportunity to familiarize incoming students to the evGrand Prix Program. The focus of this event will be important technical and safety information teams will be exposed to during the upcoming year and driver training. Drivers will be given the opportunity to learn how to identify the race line, how to safely pass in corners, hand signals, and flags. Support staff will be available to answer questions and assist with all aspects of program, and driver tips.

Bring: Notebooks Working go kart, Potential drivers and team members, cameras/recording devices

Top Kart Workshop & Seminar………………… Feb, 2020

Location: Top Kart USA

Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm

Purpose:
Top Karts winter seminar that will discuss the upcoming spring events and World Finals. New team orientation will include Kart assembly, mechanical and electrical setup, and driver tips. There will also be information about the online driver training and certification, safety, and academic challenge requirements.

Test & Tune Practice: Ceraland Park ……. April, 2020

Purpose: Put your engineering to the test! Run your kart as much as you like during this open practice session. Teams should be validating different systems and tuning their kart for the championship race in May. Support staff will be available to answer questions and assist with all aspects of the academic challenge competition, mechanical and electric setup, and driver tips.

Bring: Working go-kart. Driver and pit crew. Different size front and rear sprockets. Motor controller programmer.
